S-N-O-W!

Yesterday we were stuck inside because it poured rain all day. Last night, the rain turned to an ice mixture and then to all snow by midnight. We got wind gusts 30-50mph and the power flickered through the night.

This is what I woke up to this morning...
Yep...our first snowstorm of 2009...and my flower bulbs are out of the ground about 4-6in. This sucks! I hate snow and I'm so ready for summer to be here!
That IS ice!! Because it rained so hard before the snow, everything froze. Right now, they are calling for us to get about 1-2 more inches. The wind is still blowing so hard that the girls can't even go out and enjoy it yet. It's like a blizzard! Did I mention how much I hate snow? LOL!

Poor Kacey...she wanted to go outside as soon as she woke up! She's pouted by the window all morning. If the wind slows down, then I may run them outside for 10 minutes. Poor kids don't see snow often but they want to play in it and build a snowman. More pics to come later.....

Hi Jill,

I just wanted to say thinks for your comment on your blog. I can't wait to read more of your blog, and some of the others that you list. I had no idea there was a whole diabetes blog community out there. These days I don't have alot of time to sit and read, but I'm hoping to find some time soon. Looking forward to reading more about your story!
