What a great idea! Sydney would love to do something like that with her test strips! Thanks Jill!
I love Kacey's test strip pictures!! Keep'em coming! :)
I love the Easter pics! :D
Shamae~ If you go back through my blog I've posted several test strip pics along the way. Kacey started this as "therapy"...LOL! It made her feel good to use the strips and "display" how many times she was testing. As a Mom, these pics are priceless to me because it's a reminder of every poke she's had to endure and each poke has it's own story (highs, lows, just right) Also, we use clear contact paper and laminate them so the strips dont fall off. Be sure to use the glue called "Tacky Glue" in the craft section because they wont stick to the paper with glue sticks. Once I laminate them, I write the date on the back and we count the strips and write how many pokes it took to make the pic. Then I put them in a 12x12 memory album for her :) I was given the idea to make Xmas cards to sell but I haven't had the time to develop that further. Maybe this year! :)Amy~ She's got alot more to make :) So we will!Cara~ My fav is the boy & girl...LOL they were so cute :)
LOL what a great idea Kacey!!!
Wow! What an inspirational site! I am writing an ebook about my story of when I was diagnosed with type II diabetes and what I did to get out of the diabetic numbers. So to see what you are doing is so cool because of the 100 or so people I interviewed, only 4 are actively fighting to win over their diabetes.(typeII) You have a new follower. Keep up the faith and smiles.
Those are great! I love the Easter Egg! She is so creative!
